Bigger than Fear

I don't know about you, but I have to remind myself daily that I have bigger things to do than focus on what I fear others are saying about me.

As a recovering perfectionist and a people pleaser, it makes sense that my initial thoughts are to DO all the things to keep the people that I know, love and respect thinking of me in a positive way...and yet, where does my opinion come in?

Our brains challenge us by asking, "who do you think you are?" and I try to remember that MY answer to that question is, "I am ME and that's enough".

It's taken me a while to learn that response, and even longer to believe it, and I know a lot of women my age who struggle with this as well.

Connecting with women who are READY to believe that statement but haven't figured out HOW to do it yet is why I am a coach. If I let my fears of what people think of me get in the way, I wouldn't be able to support others on this journey because I'd just stay quiet and small and safe.

Just remember, there is always going to be someone out there who is ready to hear what we have to say, to see us for who we are, and to find the possibility of their own fearlessness in our magnificent authenticity.

So step out, be you, and email me if you want some support on your journey, contact@dailychoices.life.
