Follow the Signs

Me pointing the way with a Waxy Jim Carrey

When your internal voices are yelling at you to go a direction that isn't part of your plan, how often do you listen?

When you look back on these times with 20/20 hindsight, how do you feel?

I spent a lot of my life fixating on reaching whatever end goal I had as quickly as possible, and yet, the older I get I'm FINALLY becoming wiser to a new path.

So, I'm going to let you in on a secret that will remove some stress for you if you can implement it. Ready?

πŸ’₯Tune your focus to your experience of learning, instead of getting/doing the THING.πŸ’₯

In this day and age of instant gratification, it's easy to let our "needs" rule our life. When we don't get it, we're sad/miserable/frustrated and we resent not getting IT so much we don't examine what happened to see what we learned in the process of failing.

What if, instead of resenting the loss and the lessons, we were able to slow down and enjoy the journey? We might be more open to listening to our inner angel when she whispers in our ear.

This is part of the "Question" portion of your journey, on your QUEST for self worth. When we don't slow down to Question our thoughts and actions and make room for empowering choices, we may end up in the realm of Self Judgement which often leads us to Whoa is Me land.

Getting out of those places takes time...and perhaps some tools you don't yet have. The good news is, I have a backpack full of tools, and the curiosity to help you learn how to return to the land of Opportunity.✨ Put your πŸ‘ out and let me know you're ready for a sidekick by applying to work with me HERE.
