The Search for Peace

A photo of myself standing on a tiny island barely big enough for me in the middle of a lake.

When was the last time you felt a sense of Peace in your life?

Was it an accidental happening or was it something you made time to feel?

What had to happen to allow that feeling occur?

Perfectionists and people pleasers have a difficult time letting peace into their lives. They often have to remove themselves from the vicinity of others so they can stop worrying about what everyone else needs or thinks about what they are doing (or not doing).

Peace is something that can come from knowing who you are, what you want, and loving yourself so much that you don't have to question if you are "enough".

In this mindset, you can stop looking to others for your confidence to be given in the form of appreciation, or taken away from you when your efforts don't bring the kudos you hoped for.

You can still act out of concern and care for others, but it shifts into something more genuine and honest. Helping the people in your life comes from your heart and soul as opposed to the fearful part of us that doesn't want to be abandoned.

If you are struggling to find peace in your life without a planned seclusion, please email me at jennifer@dailychoices.life and we'll get you scheduled with a free consultation. If we are a good fit, then perhaps we can start the journey of you and see what fun we can create along the way.
