Today is for Gratitude
Today for me is about GRATITUDE.
January 1, is the day when I make a moment for focusing and visualizing what I want my year ahead to look like. This year, I am more grateful than ever that I have the luxury of being able to do this for myself.
So many people are fighting for their lives, and the lives of their children as I type this out. I feel compelled to acknowledge these horrors that are happening, because (for me) not doing so ignores part of where my mind and heart is right now.
It may help to know you are not alone if you are feeling similarly. Perhaps you have been struggling to engage in the merriment happening around you, or are experiencing a form of survivors guilt when you think about trying to live your best life.
The fact is, that the world needs you to step into your best self.
The world needs you to shine brightly.
The only way we can get through times like this is if some of us are strong enough to help others along the way.
The only way to stay strong, is to love who you are in this moment, be grateful for what you have, do what you are passionate about, and make a difference by taking actions from that resulting place of powerful confidence.
Take some time this week to find how this year can bring you to your full strength so you can then decide how you might want to be of service to those around you.
Light your candle so you can light the candles of others, then we can all find our way out of these difficult times together.
